The new Ciudad de la Justicia in Alicante is a large-scale judicial complex designed by Ayesa Engineering, bringing together the city’s main judicial services within a single building. The project combines large glazed areas, ceramic façades and a range of bespoke façade systems to create a contemporary public building with a strong architectural identity.
Royth collaborated with Construcciones Metálicas Barceló in the development and execution of the building’s façades, providing façade engineering for the glazed envelope and its associated aluminium systems.
Extra-wide aluminium louvres projecting beyond the curtain wall, create a strong three-dimensional expression while remaining fully integrated with the glazed system.
The result is a technically demanding façade in which large areas of glass are combined with substantial aluminium elements, achieving a balance between transparency, depth and architectural presence across the building’s extensive envelope.
